Haller letter: Bicyclists

Gerald Makovsky’s April 12 letter misses some important points. I would venture to guess that 99 percent of the adults riding their bikes in Boise also have cars and pay the same fees as Mr. Makovsky. I ride my bicycle to work seven months of the year. I am on the Greenbelt most of the way, and on back streets much of the way. That means my truck is not in line at lights, polluting the air in front of Mr. Makovsky, delaying his commute.

Grant Haller, Boise
