Oppenheimer letter: Young Child Week

All young children deserve high-quality early learning experiences that will help them grow and prepare them for life. Week of the Young Child continues through Saturday. It is a national celebration that honors all young children and the teachers who work with and care for them. It is also a time to recognize the wonderful guidance that family members provide in helping their children play and learn at home. This year’s theme of “Early Years are Learning Years” incorporates daily activities around play. Still to come are Artsy Thursday and Family Friday. We hope you will join us in recognizing the importance of early learning and work toward public policies that benefit all young children in Idaho. This is a time that we can reach out in our communities and help work toward the guarantee that all young children thrive and learn in a society dedicated to ensuring they reach their full potential. The Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children is proud to sponsor Week of the Young Child in Idaho.
