Fuller letter: Climate policy

I’m getting real tired of the “save the planet” crowd and their self-righteous indignation to anyone who doesn’t subscribe to their particular brand of national suicide. I’m tired of “Earth Day” and the conceit by alarmists that humans can change the climate by eliminating plastic bags and curbing CO2 emissions. But mostly I’m tired of the extremists who think the United Nations Organization and its International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is working to stop global warming.

Not exactly a household name in America, Dr. Ottmar Edenhoefer is a bigwig in world climate policy circles. Look him up. You’ll probably find a quote where he said, “One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environment anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole.” Then he added this shocking admission: “We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy.”

In other words, the man-made global warming scare is all about politics — socialist, collectivist, one-world-promoting politics — hidden under the guise of science and a concern for mankind’s future.
