Dammarell letter: Legislature run amok
What’s going on in the Legislature? Freeway speed limits at 80 mph, irresponsible. Ag gag, special interests gift. Concealed weapons permits not needed, for what sane reason? Lawmaker rules on HOA to disallow businesses like Air BnB, shouldn’t homeowners have the right to choose what they want to do? No horse racing this summer, thanks a lot. State takeover of Federal lands… why, so our Legislature, who has proven themselves to be beholden to special interests, can sell off our natural heritage piecemeal to the mining and timber conglomerates.
Is there a voice of reason left in the Statehouse?
