Thomas letter: Legislature

Thank you Lauren Gusinow for the informative letter to the editor on March 21 regarding HB516. Shedding light on an already obtrusive disregard for women is utterly mind blowing. “Free ultrasound?” As she stated, what the House and Senate have passed, HB516, directly conflicts with standard safe medical practices. A high-energy, highly focused beam of soundwaves pointed directly at a developing fetal heart most likely could cause serious damage. Who are they trying to protect? Sounds as though their only interest is themselves and their own beliefs. Shame on them. What hypocrites.
