Franzen letter: Bowe Bergdahl

The Bowe Bergdahl hearing is coming up soon and people need to know that as a veteran it is a slap in the face that his attorney wants to give him the POW medal and the Purple Heart. First off he was not a POW, he walked off, and second, what — was the food too spicy and gave him a tummy ache? Look up the Military Code of Conduct. Only six articles and he followed none of them. For example, never surrender of own free will, do not accept parole nor special treatment, prepared to give life for country, make no oral, written statements, never forget you are an American fighting person. Well, let’s see, he was on footage of eating and dressing like them, he walked away, put his outfit in a compromising situation (by being a man short). So keep that in mind when the time comes for his trial. He has slapped any veteran who has served or is serving now in the face.
