Feller letter: Republicans
Fantastic opinion by Richard Stallings noting how the Idaho Statesman gives “short shrift” to GOP challengers. I carried around the editorial board’s endorsement of Otter for a bit to show nonbelievers they’re not a liberal paper. Dismissing Balukoff by stating he wouldn’t get anything done because he’s up against a Republican Legislature was beyond mind-boggling. We finally had a chance to break the “good ol’ boy” network, but Idaho’s main newspaper ignored the opportunity by pushing Balukoff aside, dismissing an opportunity to voice the need of breaking Idaho’s Republican monopoly.
The good news is the GOP is imploding, with a RINO (aka Trump) leading the charge. Here’s other examples of irony/hypocrisy from the far right; Finicum almost runs over an officer, but his associates don’t talk about that. Lawerence Denney spends Idaho’s tax dollars promoting the Republican Party’s primary, yet there’s no complaints. Idaho Republicans rail against abortion, but allow parents to not seek medical attention in the name of religion. Nationally they block Obama on items they agree on. And the double standard of them all — Obama’s birth, with Republicans turning a blind eye (other than Trump) to the fact Cruz was born in Canada. Irony... hypocrisy... crazy.
