McCain letter: Thank you
My wife and I would like to thank a young gentleman named “Nathan” who went out of his way to help us. I had two extreme back surgeries this past year, so I haven’t been out of the house much and I can’t drive because of a firm back brace and medications.
On the early evening of March 8 we decided to drive down to Garbonzo’s Pizza on Ustick Road and bring our meal home.
We purchased our meal and took it out to the truck. The truck would not start. Nathan came over to us and said he had been in that situation before and would gladly “jump start” us.
Well, the pickup would not start and my wife and I were starting to become a little upset.
Nathan stepped in again and said “Not to worry, folks, I will gladly take you home.” So we loaded our meal and our two old bodies into his red Ram pickup truck and he took us to our house.
We would like to thank Nathan very, very much for his kindness. We will be sure to pass this act of kindness on to someone else.
