Kendall letter: Tax breaks

Is anyone else tired of Idaho being last in a number of different categories; wages, education spending. The problem lies with the religiously motivated old white males running this state. They rule the state with three principles that guide them:

1. Religious preference: They follow whatever tactics there upper echelon dictates.

2. Lobbyists: Whatever money these people pump into there accounts they are highly influenced by this.

3. Corporations: Thousands of dollars pour in to the governor and Legislature for the express purpose of influencing this group.

This is why we have a priority bill for more tax breaks for the richest citizens, the ag-gag legislation, the IEN broadband disaster, the prison debacle, the refusal to accept the Medicaid money costing the state millions of dollars and on and on.

If these people were objectively measured they would be thrown out of office for cronyism, corruption or anything else negative you can call it. They probably don’t realize this but there is a revolution going on in this country and privileged people are on their last legs. I only pray that the people of Idaho wake up and give these people the early retirement they richly deserve.
