Hall letter: Bundy

The standoff led by the Bundys on federal land near Burns, Ore., is finally over ... and now there are Associated Press reports that these criminals have left behind booby traps.

These malcontents are nothing short of domestic terrorists and should be punished to the fullest extent of federal and state law. To take over a federal property with an armed militia is cowardly, not courageous.

Imagine what the outcome would have been had they seized a federal building in downtown Seattle or Spokane? Is that the next evolution of their skewed strategies to threaten the feds? Punish these criminals and don’t waver ... send a message that we as a people will not tolerate domestic terrorism.
