Letters to the Editor

Martin letter: Whatever

Ever feel like part of a cartoon, or is it a nightmare with everyday living in your country? I guess it depends on how much a person is willing to overload their brains on. My point: the continued barrage of media coverage over Mrs. Clinton’s emails. It now appears there is evidence that top secret material was sent on her personal device. Even if the FBI has the proof, and charges are filed with the attorney general, I doubt they want to open that can of worms. Then there’s the case of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl: guilty, not guilty? Did he do what his fellow soldiers in his unit claimed? Don’t know, wasn’t there. Not to worry left-wing liberal progressives if the scales of justice tilt against them. I predict that your president will pardon them as his closing act before leaving the “People’s House.” Problem solved. I’ve heard it said that “common sense is a flower that doesn’t grow in everyone’s garden.” Just need a better gardener, or more duct tape for your head.

Gene Martin, Emmett
