Landers letter: Work together

I don’t think I will ever see peace achieved in my time because all I see is a lack of tolerance and instability because of too much division which is fueled by hate and discourse because we can’t seem to find a balance because you’re either to the right or left and no center. I wish we could come to solutions rather than fighting and bickering and help the homeless and the less fortunate but we don’t, instead we use excuses why we can’t or play the blame game but we need to work together and save the planet. There are real issues that need our attention but we need to work together and solve these issues because they are overpopulation, water, environment, hunger, poverty and the list goes on. We need to quit sweeping it under the rug. America needs to resolve issues through peaceful means and that is with people working together and finding common ground because America is being torn apart with too much violence and hate and too many parents grieving and going to funerals. I wish we could find solutions to the madness and not be so complex.
