Yount letter: Liberals vs. conservatives
The Libs and Cons:
The liberals: The liberals started with our liberal founding fathers drafting the most liberal constitution in the history of constitution writing, forming a strong, centralized liberal government and United States, enabling a liberal, capitalistic free enterprise business system that allowed individual upward mobility, liberal freedom of expression through free speech and writing, and a tolerant, liberal social attitude that has permeated our cultural fabric ever since. Great liberal leaders Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt are immortalized on Mount Rushmore.
The conservatives: They were the ones who sided with King George III and the landed class. But their descendants live on today; they watch Fox News and suffer from severe humor deprivation. The vitriol. The venom. The anger. From the fascist inspired captains of hate radio, Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh, to the Tea Partiers who oppose or want to destroy all social programs and liberal rights (except the wildly liberal Second Amendment), conservatives rampage against anything with the name liberal or progressive on it, unless, of course, it benefits their district or state. Great conservative leaders Nixon, Reagan and W are remembered by, in their respective order, criminality, old B movies, and insanity.
