Affleck letter: Thank you

On Monday, Jan. 25, while driving to school, my 16-year-old son was involved in a car accident on Meridian Road. I was just outside Mountain Home on my way to Utah when I got the phone message from my husband, who was at work. I called my son to make sure he was OK (he was very shook up and sounded like he was freezing), and then said a prayer that he would be fine and wouldn’t freeze to death. Next, I called a friend to help him out, and then continued on to Provo where my daughter was in labor (she delivered that night). I returned home on Saturday to find that a “good Samaritan” had helped direct traffic around the accident and also left his down coat draped over my son’s shoulders. I am beyond grateful to this “good Samaritan” who answered my prayers and good friends who helped my son in our time of need. Please get in touch with us — we would love to return your coat.
