I totally agree with the Jan. 13 Statesman editorial about the West Ada School District Board of Trustees and new Superintendent Mary Ann Ranells. It was spot-on. They are doing a very good job moving WASD into a positive 2016, making education and teachers their top priority. What needs to end now is the recall efforts that are driving negativity and distraction in the work of a good board and its new superintendent. They have proven to be intelligent and dedicated while successfully moving WASD forward under extremely negative circumstances.
