Ellison letter: Statehouse Christmas tree

After reading the letter on Jan. 8 from the man who objected to the Christmas tree on the Statehouse steps, I have a suggestion. Don’t look at it. I’m certain that more people enjoyed it than didn’t.

Everyone is so politically correct anymore that they object to everything. Most of us enjoy the lights and decorations of the Christmas season. If you don’t like them, then move to a country that doesn’t allow them.

People want to move to the United States and then object because we don’t do things like the country they came from did. I’m 85 years old and dearly love our country.
