Knight letter: Gun control

I think it would be very beneficial for people to listen to “our president.” He has never gone against the Constitution of the United States. If you would think and use some common sense you would realize there were no semi-automatics when the Constitution was written that would kill 15-30 people in a crowd or room at the pull of a trigger. The times have changed and new rules need to be implemented for safety.

Is it so terrible that mentally ill people or people who can’t pass a test not be able to get their hands on a gun? You can’t even hunt with a semi-automatic. What is your problem?

I would think you would be more dismayed about our Congress thinking more about the money they will lose if they vote to make our lives safer. Is it all about money? What happened to “by the people, for the people”? They are suppose to be working for us. Not bought to help more people be killed.
