Franzen letter: F15 noise
For those who live by the airport and complain about the noise, I am pretty sure the airport and guard were there first. Those who think the F15s use their afterburners all the time, well, they don’t. They don’t need them to take off. I am sure the skirts on the trailers may rattle, but like I said, the airport and guard were there first.
It’s kind of like moving next door to a dairy and than complaining about the smell. Oh and before people think I don’t know what I am talking about, I spent 21 years in the Air Force, and the noise was not bad at all.
