Lugar letter: Bowe Bergdahl

I find it disturbing that we don’t know why Bowe Bergdahl left his post. I understand that he was upset at commanders above him, but that’s it. Maybe his commander was doing the McChrystal, talking about our commander in chief in a derogatory way. Maybe it’s Bowe we need to thank and dismiss those claiming he caused death. In fact, I think Bowe is being used as a scapegoat by the right-wing military crowd. They want revenge for McChrystal and all the other disgusting actions that they’ve been held accountable for. I believe we the people need to take into account the intentions of the accused and not just the actions. Then throw out any of the accusations coming from those whose credentials have proven to be just bigoted opinions.
