Wallace letter: Offensive cartoon

Your anti-Second Amendment cartoon on Dec. 14 was not only a testament to your liberal bias but also highly inaccurate. Police departments didn’t exist when the Constitution was written so today’s police would be a reflection of our forefathers’ military. The wording in the Second Amendment, as with a number of other items in the Constitution, was actually put there because of our forefathers’ fear of the military. They would have similar fears of today’s police departments as well. The Second Amendment was meant as a way for the average citizen to be able to protect himself from his government.

If you’re going to spread Obama propaganda, at least make an attempt to appear as if you care about your readership.
