Brenton letter: Homelessness
People in this country invented cars, airplanes, trains, light bulbs, television and the Internet. We spend trillions of dollars on smartphones, the best cars, the latest toys and dinners in fancy restaurants. We put a man on the moon, made countless trips to space on the shuttles. We put a rover on Mars.
I have been told that homelessness is a complicated issue. The truth is, no it is not.
All those things were accomplished because people wanted to do it. And homelessness is a piece of cake after all that. We just have to want to.
