Garay letter: Thank you
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Good Samaritans who assisted my son after he was in an accident on the way home from Idaho State University recently, just outside Glenns Ferry.
You helped him stay calm and comforted him, and one couple even allowed him to sit in their car while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. You offered him a warm blanket and a bottle of water, but most of all, the generosity and kindness of your hearts. You didn’t have to stop and pull over, you could have kept going to your destination during this busy holiday season.
My heart sank when I got the call from my son, but at least I knew he was conscious. As I crept to Elmore County Hospital from Meridian, all I could think of was that he had his guardian angels watching over him, and that includes all of you who stopped, along with the EMTs.
This year is a very blessed holiday season. You will never know how meaningful your acts of kindness has meant to me. With Gratitude and Holiday Spirits.
Paula Garay, Meridian
