Hayes letter: Ignore Islamic State
There’s been a lot of talk about Islamic State lately, but I think I know how to defeat them. Ignore them.
They want attention and they are feeding off our fear. We can’t let them get to us. If we go to war against them, it will only send the message that we believe in bloodshed, just as they do.
The truth is, they really can do nothing against us. Just like them, we are created by a loving God, and try as they might, they cannot get to our souls. So don’t fear them. No one — and I mean no one — can kill our souls.
