DiVittorio letter: Caring community

KTVB Cares Day relies upon the extraordinary generosity and compassion found within Idaho’s communities. Many companies and community members throughout the Treasure Valley came together on Dec. 12 to contribute time, money and food to help meet some of the most critical needs of Idahoans.

Optum Idaho’s participation in this campaign as a “Company that Cares” is part of our ongoing commitment to help some of our most vulnerable citizens on their recovery journey. Our employees collected food and we partnered with area network providers who serve our communities who led their own efforts in collecting items for local community-based organizations to help Idahoans in need this winter.

As we reflect and give thanks this holiday season, it’s important to remember the tremendous impact individuals, communities and businesses can make when we work together to address the challenges many Idahoans face in their daily lives. We are proud to be part of such a great community and look forward to future opportunities to support the health and well-being of our friends, neighbors and partners.

Becky diVittorio, executive director, Optum Idaho
