Jannuzzi letter: Deputies’ photos
Publishing front page, 5-inch, out-of-context pictures of the two smiling officers involved in the shooting death of Jack Yantis was totally irresponsible. You may have just as well stamped the words “Wanted” or “Guilty” across the pictures. This was a tragic event. No one knows yet what really happened. We all want information and answers. But what did posting those pictures accomplish? I was glad to see the Adams County Record newspaper took a much more sensible, restrained approach to the release of their names. You can learn from their example.
