Sciales letter: Butch Otter

Not surprised to read Gov. Butch Otter wants another million for the Constitutional Defense Fund to see if this is the year he breaks that record 19-year losing streak. Perhaps in his mind he’s still wearing those tight jeans from all those years ago, ever flagging his horse while he tilts at Constitutional windmills looking for that one Big Win. If he wants to do that, why don’t his minions just start a legal defense fund? Just so taxpayers don’t have to subsidize Idaho’s own Don Quixote and further enrich his Poncho Sanchez law firm. Our taxpayer dollars are best squandered elsewhere, like a statewide broadband contract. Don’t look at me, you all voted for him. I wanted the qualified businessman.
