Bennett letter: West Ada trustees
The brutal treatment of Linda Clark, the West Ada School District superintendent, is a warning of the destruction coming. To pour salt on the wounds, the anti-Clark cabal is now trying to recall Clark’s remaining supporter, Mike Vuittonet.
If the four members of the anti-Clark cabal had been serious about change, they would have worked quietly, privately and waited until after the bond election. The fact that the four upstarts were so public in their destructive actions should be worrying to everyone in the district. The new board has shown it is brutish and virulently ideological. Simply put, the new board is out to do serious mischief and your children are at risk.
When I was living in Maryland, a similar cabal tried to take over the county school board, and only a vigilant press exposed them for the religious fanatics they were.
The residents of the West Ada School District need to get serious. For starters, they need to fully investigate the backgrounds and connections of board members Tina Dean, Russell Joki, Julie Madsen and Carol Sayles. What political organizations do they belong to? What religious affiliations do they have?
Remember: The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
