Raganit letter: Hostages
I do not get it. With all the problems in countries where dictators and military leaders rule, why do Americans travel to these countries and get held hostage? Excuse me, they knew the risk of going there and still they went. Either they are not smart enough to figure it out or they have other motives for going in these hot spots. Now that they are held hostage, they expect the United States to devote all resources to get them out. Of course, let’s make it a political. Wasting time, money, energy or maybe military actions to get them out. My parents told me that there are consequences to all your decisions, good or bad. So they are paying the price for a bad decision. Let’s not make the same bad decision to spend our valuable resources and money. Think before you act.
