November is National Adoption Month. Have you considered becoming a foster parent and providing a safe, temporary home for children who are in foster care? Or maybe you could provide a permanent, forever home for those in foster care who are unable to return to their birth families. They need committed adoptive families to provide loving, nurturing care, support as they develop, and a home to come back to as they grow into adulthood. Children need families. If you are unable to foster or foster to adopt, there are other opportunities to become involved through volunteering, mentoring and donations. Attend an Informational Meeting or visit www.icwrtc.org or call 211 to find out how you can make a difference in the life of a child. The dates and locations of upcoming meetings can be found at http://www.icwrtc.org/events/info-meetings.
