Woodard letter: Dam removal advocates

The recent article about certain people advocating removal of the dams on the Columbia and Snake rivers is troubling. True, there are some fish passage issues, but the benefits far outweigh the negatives. These anti-dam advocates are the ones who have stopped all dam construction in California and when a drought hit, California is without water. These same environmentalists will try to do the same to Idaho.

Idaho is enjoying a migration of disgruntled Californians who enjoy our streams, green lawns and water-based sports. Let’s not let the environmental do-gooders mess up another state.
