I am getting tired of seeing the same news, in particular of what Donald Trump does and does not support. The Idaho Statesman should stop following mainstream news media on the extreme viewpoints of Trump and his latest comments. Personal political views aside, as a respected local and state newspaper, I think that the Idaho Statesman should print news articles about other presidential candidates’ views, of what they do and do not support, and they should not simply put it on the editorial page. Give Trump a rest. The Statesman should step out of media popularity and start proving that it goes above and beyond in journalism. As one voter in this state, I want to be educated in my decision at the local, state, and national level. As a news agency, the Idaho Statesman should support that with facts and views of every candidate, not just the popular ones.
