Peavey-Derr comment

I found Judy Peavey-Derr’s comments regarding refugee “blight” to be both clueless and racist. Many of these refugees, from places like Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa, were displaced by war and genocide. For many decades, the people of Boise have proudly shown their heart to the world by their generous and compassionate treatment of these refugees, as well as other immigrants. She has no business whatsoever of representing Boise as its mayor or in any other capacity.
