The city of Eagle is facing a number of decisions that will affect its future for decades. These include traffic management, downtown development, parks and recreation, potential fracking and the need for responsible budgeting.
Our current mayor, Jim Reynolds, may be a nice guy, but he is lacking the leadership qualities that are desperately needed to help us work through these important issues. Stan Ridgeway, on the other hand, has advocated for openness in our decision-making, negotiation instead of litigation, and he promotes citizen involvement at every step in our decision-making processes. Even though Stan has voted against my preference on two issues, I strongly endorse him based on his commitment to fair process, his integrity and his leadership and management skills.
