I’m asking my elected officials to please hold Mitch McConnell to his word and do not vote for any long-term spending bill until the DACA issue has been addressed. The fate of nearly 700,000 young people is on the line and they have been tossed around in partisan politics; unsure as to whether or not their lives in this country will be completely jeopardized. DACA recipients have served in our military, gotten graduate degrees, started small businesses and more. They didn’t ask to be brought to this country, but they have contributed to the fabric of our society and we are a stronger country because of them. Please address their amnesty from deportation immediately. Thank you.
