Allen letter: Donald Trump
Pick any week at random out of Trump’s first year in office and you’ll find that he’s said or tweeted more ridiculous and absurd things than Obama did in his entire eight years.
That’s coming from someone who wasn’t an Obama fan by a long shot. If he continues to run roughshod over all dignity, decorum and protocol without anyone apparently able to hold him in check, the office, which used to be widely respected, will certainly become the laughingstock of the world.
Caricatures of him being some kind of goofball clown must be running rampant in most of the other countries of the world now. It’s embarrassing to admit that this is the leader of our great nation and by extension, the free world. God help us, please.
