Massie letter: Tax bills

It appears most of the Congress is prepared to sacrifice their morals and their common sense in order to pass flawed tax legislation. They have admitted they will need to rescind some areas of the law and modify others.

This is absolutely absurd. You shouldn’t try to pass bad laws in a hurry. And for what? Who the heck can tell what is going on in their brains. Meanwhile, they are determined to force this bad legislation through regardless of the pain and suffering it will cause for most of the average American people.

It is time to stop this insane push for crappy legislation. Do it right or don’t do it at all. God forbid they should try to formulate a bipartisan solution. What would the world think then, that we may have regained some of our sanity?
