D’Orazio letter: Annual SOS Walk
The Boise Bench Lions have their 12th Annual SOS WALK (Support Our Servicemen and women Walk) for those serving away from home during this Christmas holiday.
It will be on Pearl Harbor/Day of Infamy Remembrance Day, Thursday, Dec. 7th, starting at 6 p.m. from Anne Frank Memorial next to the Library on Capitol Boulevard across from Julia Davis Park. It will proceed to the State Capitol steps by the Christmas tree, culminating in a special program to include a Borah High singing Chorale and followed with a few speakers..
We invite military families and the general public to join us in paying tribute to our finest while serving away from home. We want to show our respect, appreciation and love to our military, many in harm’s way, while serving our country.
