Kudos to a good Samaritan and Boise Police Department.
Recently, two days before a business trip, I managed to lose my wallet while enjoying the Greenbelt in Julia Davis Park. Retracing my steps twice that afternoon proved fruitless, so I started the process of canceling and replacing credit cards, and trying to remember what else I had in it.
The next day my wife discovered a business card from Officer JC Chamberlain on our front door saying to call about my wallet. Officer Chamberlain not only called me back that evening while off duty, but arranged to meet me at the airport before my 7:30 flight the next morning. I received the wallet, complete with cash, credit cards and — most importantly — driver’s license, in plenty of time for my flight.
I want to express my thanks to the anonymous good citizen who took the time to bring the wallet to the police station, and to Officer Chamberlain, who went out of his way to come to my house and the airport.
