Carpenter letter: Scott Yenor

Shame on BSU and their “offended” class for censoring Scott Yenor’s report and threatening his job. Why does this school continue to silence speech simply because people complain that they are offended?

It’s absurd that BSU would censor speech in this way. Does the university not understand that they are suppose to challenge people’s ideas and beliefs, to spur them to critical thinking? Clearly Jeff Sessions was right to call out “our” school for their intolerance. And it’s shameful that Mr. Yenor has been labeled by the school a “neo-Nazi” simply for telling the truth, as he sees it.

When are these bullies who hide on university campuses going to grow up and realize you don’t have the right not to be offended in this country?
