Crockett letter: Elect Jill Mitchell

I’m writing to support Dr. Jill Mitchell for Eagle City Council. I’ve known Jill for over 10 years on a business and personal level. Jill is one of the most honest, kind and reliable individuals I know. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, it is natural for her to see both sides of the issue and work towards a solution that all parties agree upon. As an Eagle resident for the last 14 years, Jill has witnessed Eagle go through many transitions. Her desire is to support growth in a manner that does not strain our current resources. She hopes to keep local taxes local, instead of funneling them to the state level, as is the current practice. As a woman that thoroughly enjoys the outdoors, she hopes to maintain and expand the Eagle trail system and hopes to implement a plan that would create a pedestrian walk-way from downtown to Merrill Park.
