Civiello letter: Offensive words

I demand that the following words be completely eliminated from all literature, speech, social media and dictionaries so as to not offend any person of transcendent societal awareness because these words or ideas might generate unsought potential angst: Bible, God, truth, religion, man, woman, husband, wife, marriage, constitution, republic, responsibility, forgiveness, success, shame, excellence, perseverance, integrity, honor, honesty, truth and accountability.

I believe these words and ideas are very offensive and that our newly educated hyper-sensitive selfie population should not be stifled by these millennial old concepts foisted upon us by the various limited thinking special interest groups from the past, the vapors of which are thankfully wafting away from our enlightened society.

I can only thank Saul Alinsky for heightening my community activist inner self and again demand that we hasten the impending demise of these offensive words by immediately replacing them with the new trinity of “Me, Myself and I.”

I can’t write any more because I need to take my three rescued greyhounds to a play date and pick up my organic, gluten free, semi-salted, chi-laced double skinny latte to sip while my Prius is having the air in its tires changed.
