Smith letter: Who is truly Christian?

Some thoughts about Christians and those who call themselves “Christian”: Why does D.J. Trump call himself Christian when he really isn’t? He espouses the rejection of immigrants, Muslim and Latin countries, because his base of followers believe these people come here to take advantage of U.S. citizens, our lifestyles and wealth and better lives for their families. Since his name comes up so often in news, etc., I suggest we ignore Mr. T. and think about who really is a Christian and would Christ Himself reject any immigrants who truly need help? Would Christ renounce the DACA portion of Barack Obama’s courageous Christian plan to preserve children, and now adults, into our national heritage? Who among you support the “Big T,” and yet call yourselves Conservative Christians? What in the world does “Conservative” really mean? And truly Christian in everything you live and breathe? It is not too late to join the Light Side. Think about it, and pray about it.
