Ogden letter: Labrador and Kustra
Thank you to the Statesman for publishing Raul Labrador’s response to BSU president Bob Kustra’s attack on him for his denunciation of extremists of both the right (white) and the left (black) at Charlottesville. Rep. Labrador reflected my thoughts exactly about that issue, and especially the fact it is time for Kustra to leave Boise State and Idaho. His leftist views from Chicago of playing the race card here to foment strife to further the left’s agenda while doing nothing for those he professes to care about (the blacks) has no place in Idaho. Too may leftist speakers and promotions at BSU. Idaho leaders have worked too hard to promote Idaho values to have someone like Kustra destroy it with Chicago methods. Raul Labrador for governor. Goodbye to Kustra and good riddance. Maybe Gov. Otter and the current Board of Education can help this process along. All who feel as I do should let their opinions be known to those responsible for effective change.
Dave Ogden, Boise
