Morgan letter: Donald Trump
How much more outrage from the disgusting and failing Trump presidency must the American public tolerate before we collectively oust this repugnant excuse for a president? Does this man, finally, have no shame? Have we ever seen anyone, let alone a president, so devoid of any concept of personal accountability, so bereft of personal morality, so willing to pander to the most base and guttural elements of our society?
This is the same man who bragged that he could walk out on Fifth Avenue and start shooting people and his base would stand by him. Sadly, this is one of the rare instances where this failing president spoke the truth. It speaks volumes about our degeneration as a society that we elect such an utterly unfit person to high office, and even more if we tolerate his continuation in office. Our elected Idaho congressmen must finally muster the minimal backbone and integrity to stand up to this charade of a president and bring this national disgrace and nightmare to an end.
