Lee letter: Protesters

Those who protest against free speech, no matter how offensive they find it, are fools. To do so opens a door best kept closed. Who gets to decide what is acceptable? How can you be sure if you deny one person’s right to express their opinion, next time it won’t be your opinion that is deemed unacceptable and that it is you who should be silenced. I’m sure those counterprotesters in Boston think they did something good, but what they really did was drive yet another nail into the coffin of the First Amendment.
