Landers letter: Mental health
Our world has become depressed and mental health is rising as with addiction. Yet there seems to be no cure, but a lot of talk. The results have become more suicides, foreclosures and poverty growing larger, which are a result of depression. Hollywood is not exempt as we have seen lately but mainstream media or politicians seem not to care because if they did, then why aren't we doing something? How many lives have to be lost because we have 22 vets a day dying. If we cared maybe we could actually fix the problem because life must not be worth anything any more. Mental health in our nation is failing the grade and creating hopelessness and suicides because people have nothing to grasp. Too many are falling through the cracks and being run over by the bus because no one cares. If they did they would create opportunity and jobs to pull people up. Our nation is only as good as the people who represent us and have our back, not getting rich off of us and wasting tax dollars on pork barrel projects.
