Postage stamps from the U.S. Postal Service keep the spirit of the American dream alive. They are small works of art intended to honor heroes, history, milestones, achievements and natural wonders while at the same time honoring all of America.
They are a bargain at 49 cents each, to show that payment was made for first class mail, to travel all the way across this great nation, binding us together even with our technological advances to communicate.
Some would say that this form of communication, writing letters and paying their bills using postage, for example, is out of date, but I believe it shows that you took the time and effort to keep employing over 113,000 military members and veterans of our country, while at the same time using no tax dollars. While of course, using a personal, secure and lasting means of communications.
In 2016, the Postal Service printed 19 billion postage stamps, proving that they will always be popular with America.
