Weigand letter: F-35 mission
We live in Sun City West, Ariz. several months a year. Luke Air Force Base is approximately nine miles away, and the F-35 jets fly over several times a week. When you are outside, you cannot carry on a conversation because the noise is so loud. Everything stops because of the noise.
Boise and the surrounding towns will be adversely affected by the roar of these jets. If you are enjoying an evening on your patio, appreciate the quiet that we enjoy daily, because if the jets come to Gowen Field, the peacefulness will be gone.
