When Hafez al Assad bombed his own people with poisoned gas and the pictures of dead children was shown to the world our politicians were outraged. President Trump even bombed their airfield.
And yet these same politicians after passing a bill that would take away health care from 23 million Americans, half of which are children who depend on it to live, held a victory party in the Rose Garden.
The only difference in the two events was a tax break for the rich.
In some areas it is fashionable to say “greed is good.” But if there is a good side to this greed I fail to see it.
