Ehrnstein letter: Donald Trump

“You are known by the company you keep,” an old adage that is as true today as it was when I learned it years ago. In the name of partisanship, how long are the Republicans going to support a president that is a liar, crude, guilty of giving secrets to the enemy, and a sexual predator? Ryan excuses saying he is new to politics. Excuse me Mr. Ryan but lying has nothing to do with politics but everything to do with character. Throwing American media out of the Oval Office then giving secrets to Russian spies with only Russian media in the Oval Office borders on treason. Attacking the free press, crudeness, and being a sexual predator and constantly attacking women has nothing to do with politics. Ethics rules have been broken by this administration; paid or unpaid, family members may not work in the White House. Ryan, McConnell, and their tribe now show themselves to have the same lack of character and morals by the company they keep. How long will it be before someone in Congress stops being a partisan hack and stands up for me?
